The Island Games take place every two years with this year’s being hosted by Gotland from 24th – 30th June. Up to 15 islands across the globe take part in the events, including the Channel Islands, Cayman Islands, Faroe Islands, Greenland and Orkney to name a few. Each individual and team competes for a medal, Gold, Silver and Bronze. Lawrence Stacey is aiming for a medal in table tennis this year, although the Guernsey team will be up against some tough competition.

The Heritage Group understand the importance of supporting staff to pursue their interests outside of work. Human Resources Associate Director Lucy McKenzie comments, “We like to support staff where we can by listening and responding to what they need for a healthy work life balance. We know that our success depends on the happiness of our employees. We wish Lawrence and Patrick all the best for the competition”.
