Fund Administration Services : Laurence McNairn

Laurence was a Director of Guernsey International Fund Managers Limited (GIFM), a Baring Asset Management Group (BFSG) company, for a decade from April 1995. From 1996 he was responsible for its private equity and property fund administration business until his appointment as Head of Fund Administration, Alternative Products for the Group in August 2003.

Laurence spent 16 years with BFSG, gaining broad experience in his field with particular expertise in private equity and property fund investment. He held board appointments with a number of prominent private equity and property fund managers and has operated on a global basis including Central and Eastern Europe and Asia. He also has experience in the operation of emerging markets funds and the organisation of audit committees for certain funds.

Laurence’s interests include walking and watching sport, especially rugby and football.
