About The Heritage Group : Charles  Allen

Charles joined the insurance sector in early 80s and specialised in underwriting and technical support for captive clients. He was appointed Director of Transglobe Underwriting Management Ltd in 1989 where his role expanded to encompass systems development and management of the Guernsey office.

In 1993, Charles and other members of the senior management team formed Polygon Group Ltd and Charles was appointed Managing Director of the newly created Captive Management subsidiary, renamed Prism Insurance Management.

In 2001 Charles was part of the Heritage Group management buy-out team, and since then has continued to lead the Captive Management services offered by the Heritage Group now with over 140 clients and 80 staff, and was appointed Chief Executive in 2008.

When not at work his interests include boating, riding, fishing and skiing.
